Professional Dog Trainer - Adam Miklos
As a dog trainer, I've led hundreds of group and private Obedience and Agility classes at Unleashed by Petco and the ZoomRoom in Los Angeles, California where I mastered positive reinforcement dog training techniques. I’m thrilled to bring this knowledge and work ethic back to my home state.
By working in the pet services industry for many years, I see major flaws in how big companies perform services for you and your dog. A great example of this is how most dogs that attend "daycares" are effectively having a panic attack for the majority of their stay. Dogs at daycare are being handled and conditioned in ways that make them less manageable in your home.
Where we need to start with our dogs, is in teaching them how to maintain a calm body and mind as we use effective leadership, tools, and cues on a day-in-day-out basis. By teaching and guiding, instead of forcing and manipulating, we honor our dogs and bring out the best in them for us!
From toy breeds to sporting dogs, the hounds to the terriers, whether it’s a puppy’s first class or an adult dog needing some guidance, with just a little patience and practice, I’ve seen improvement in all dogs and humans who train with me.
